Mr. Gerber is our controlling shareholder and has served as Chief Executive Officer, President, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Marygold Companies, Inc. (the “Company”), since January 2015. He founded USCF Investments, United States Commodity Funds, LLC (“USCF”), and USCF Advisers, LLC (“USCF Advisers”), and has over 30 years of senior executive leadership in the financial services sector. He founded Marygold & Co. (US) in 2019 and Marygold & Co. (UK), Limited in 2021, both Company subsidiaries in the fintech sector.

Since 2004, Mr. Gerber has served as the President and Chair of USCF Investments, which became a subsidiary of the Company in January 2015. USCF Investments is the parent of USCF and USCF Advisers, both registered with the NFA as commodity pool operators, and swap firms. He co-founded USCF in 2005, founded USCF Advisers in 2017, and has also served as Chair of the Board of Trustees of USCF ETF Trust and as its President and Chief Executive Officer from 2014 to 2015.

Mr. Gerber has been registered with the CFTC and NFA as a principal of USCF since 2005 and of USCF Advisers since 2017. He is currently Chief Executive Officer of Marygold & Co. (US) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Marygold & Co. (US) and Marygold & Co. (UK).

Mr. Gerber earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Skidmore College. He holds a license for National Futures Association (NFA) Series 3 registration.
