Carolyn is the chief legal officer and chief continuity officer of The Marygold Companies, Inc. (“Marygold”). Ms. Yu brings over twenty-five years of legal experience to her current role as chief legal officer, where she heads Marygold’s corporate legal department and is responsible for the legal affairs of the corporation and serves on its executive management team. In the past she held the positions as general counsel of USCF Investments, a wholly owned subsidiary of Marygold, general counsel and chief compliance officer of United States Commodity Funds, LLC and USCF Advisers, LLC as well as general counsel of Concierge Technologies, Inc. (N/K/A Marygold). Prior to joining Marygold, Ms. Yu was a government trial attorney in both California and Hawaii. She served the State of Hawaii as its branch chief at the state Securities Enforcement Branch, deputy prosecuting attorney and deputy corporation counsel for the County of Honolulu, and an assistant district attorney for the City and County of San Francisco. She received a Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, CA and an undergraduate degree in business administration from San Francisco State University.
